MOONS AMONG THE RINGS

Saturn has at least 18 moons. Many are small, all of them are composed of large amounts of ices with some rocky material. Like most other moons, they are all locked in rotation with the same side always facing Saturn. Many of the moons show heavy cratering on the leading side. At least one of the moons has an atmosphere.
