LupusFor the Observer
Beta Lupi (14h55m.2 -42°56') has a magnitude of 2.69 and is a class B2 star about 540 light years distant.Gamma Lupi (15h31m.1 -41°00') has a magnitude of 2.8 and is a class B2 star about 570 light years distant. The star is a difficult binary with a minute separation because the stars are seen edge on. The companion has a magnitude of 3.7 and is also a class B star. Epsilon Lupi (15h19m.3 -44°31') has a magnitude of 3.36 and is a class B3 star about 300 light years. The star is a close binary of magnitude 9.0. |
